34 Weeks...

Today I have officially hit the 34 week mark and super excited for this baby to arrive!

30 Weeks....

I am officially 30 weeks as of yesterday. I continue to be amazed at how fast the time flies. Tyson and I have been enjoying an extra long weekend as we both had the 4th off of work and also took off Thursday and Friday. I have spent most of my time inside as the heat is unbearable. I think I have already began the "nesting" phase because I have started to clean the house from top to bottom and throw a lot of things away. We are also in the process of redoing the closet in the nursery. Once this is done the nursery will be ready for baby.

26 Weeks!

Today I am officially 26 weeks and really starting to notice a difference between the pictures. I am finding that yoga pants and tank tops are my necessity right now, along with Chobani Greek yogurt, frozen bean burritos, ice tea, and peanut butter atop honey wheat toast. I was shocked to read on my iTouch pregnancy app this morning that I will be entering my third trimester already on June 14th! I am getting very anxious to meet this little person who wiggles and kicks all day long!

Tyson and I have finished planting our garden, and we both enjoy checking on it daily as it seems to be taking off rapidly. We planted eggplant, tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, onions, and red potatoes. I also got much needed assistance on Mother's Day this year when my mom and sister visited. They helped me plant all of my flowers which have also continued to flourish this Summer.

We're Back....

I realize I have been slacking again posting updates. We had to buy a new computer as my college computer decided to "throw in the towel". I finally figured out how to upload all of my pictures, and I know that belly shots have been in high demand!

I am officially 25 weeks! I had my regular doctor appointment on Monday which I am always excited for. Baby's heartbeat is very strong and they measured my belly for the first time! (Yes I was very excited about this, as I am loving my precious bump!) It seems like every morning it is a little rounder and bigger. Tyson and I love watching baby move at night when we are lounging on the couch together. The picture below is a shot at 23 weeks and 4 days. I will do a better job at keeping up now since I have a working computer!

Oh Baby!!

Today I am 19 weeks and 3 days! Really starting to notice this growing baby and tummy!

A New Addition

I am so very excited to finally announce that Tyson and I are expecting! God has blessed us with an amazing little gift that I have been so excited to tell the world about. I will be 12 weeks on Thursday, which seems hard to believe already. We broke the news to the families and close friends on Saturday and Sunday which made for an exciting and memorable weekend. My due date is September 13th, my favorite time of the year! We will have our next appointment on Monday the 5th and am hoping for another ultrasound so I can see our ever growing bundle of joy and include it in the next post!

Happy Valentine's Day!

As I was walking through HyVee today getting groceries I was amazed to see that all of the Valentine's Day candy had vanished and in it's place was Easter everything! Valentine's Day is just another day for Tyson and I, however we do make an attempt to get out of the house to enjoy other peoples cooking. This year Tyson made reservations at Traditions Inn here in Columbus. We have never been there before and were surprised when we were able to get a reservation on Valentine's Day. It is a local bed & breakfast that proudly serves Certified Angus Beef (loooovvveee). We enjoyed homemade bread and a cheese board for our appetizer along with a ceaser salad and tomato basil soup. We both opted for the medium rare prime rib with tri colored potatoes and steamed vegetables for our main course and finished the meal with strawberries romanoff and triple chocolate raspberry cake. The food was amazing and we will be sure to go back again, and especially wear stretchy pants! I also received these beautiful flowers from my mom, she is the greatest!

Besides Valentine's Day we have just been working and enjoying our time together. We still have a lot of snow but a few warm days are coming which will hopefully make some of it disappear. I am ready for Spring, however I am very thankful for the mild winter we have had so far. Tyson is getting geared up for his poker tournament he is hosting on March 10th in his shop. I was informed last night that the numbers are already up to 20-30 guys. I think I will spend that day shopping in Omaha or getting a massage as 20-30 drinking men playing cards doesn't sound all that appealing to me. I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
