I was officially 40 weeks and 4 days on Monday. I was thinking to myself "why in the world is this little baby not coming!" I woke up Monday morning having mild contractions and figured it would probably be Thursday (our scheduled day to be induced) before we would have the baby. However as Monday afternoon rolled around my contractions were stronger. After checking into the hospital we soon found out that we would be admitted and having our baby.
After only 12 hours of labor we welcomed a sweet little girl into this world at 4:02 on Tuesday morning. If any of you reading didn't know, we decided not to find out the gender. She weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. We were able to bring her home with us on Thursday and have been enjoying every second with her since we had her.
