Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was spent at our home with just the three of us. I was scheduled to work for five hours however when I checked my email this morning I found that all federal employees were excused from work for the day to celebrate the holidays. Our day was spent sleeping in, napping, and snuggling with our sweet pea. We also went to Christmas Eve service at our new church here in Columbus. We left the house about 15 minutes early in order to get a good seat however found that upon arriving we were a little late. Church was completely full so we were set up in the back with some other families. It actually proved to be great seating for us as about halfway through Emerie was getting antsy. We are excited to travel back to Wood River tomorrow for the Wagoner Christmas!

Christmas One

Tyson and I hosted Christmas at our house on the 22nd for my side. It was great to have everyone over to celebrate Christmas and enjoy soup and sandwiches on the cold day. I think Emerie especially enjoyed every ones company as she slept great that night. Here's to I hope many more Christmases at our home.

Hanging out with Great Grandma Mary, Emerie could not get enough of Grandma's sweatshirt.

My little gift! We had fun opening Emerie's presents together!

Emerie got a pretty cool highchair from Grandpa and Grandma Lambrecht. Notice how she is loving the new view. She is also enjoying the bright musical toy that Gigi got her.

Just a close up to show how content the little lady was while I baked sugar cookies for the neighbors.

Daycare

The day I was dreading came on the 12th. After 12 weeks with my angel, it was back to work for me which meant to daycare for her. I will admit it was a very hard day for me. I literally glanced at the clock every minute! My sweet husband had flowers delivered to me with the sweetest note and the flowers were in my crystal vase (that sneaky Ty). Upon arriving to the daycare they said she was great and the most laid back baby there! She was very wore out and cranky when I brought her home the first week. She always has the biggest smile and is ready to talk to me when I pick her up. I am looking  forward to the long weekends approaching for some quality time with my amazing man and little sweet pea!

He even picked them out!

Headbands...

I have become addicted to Etsy and the beautiful headbands for baby girls. However I am not in love with how much they cost!! After contemplating purchasing I thought,  "why the heck can't I make them myself!" So that is exactly what I am doing, it has proven to save me money and be a constructive hobby! So if anyone wants a headband let me know!!

Hands

Emerie is currently infatuated with her hands and putting them as far into her mouth that she can. She does have a pacifier but is starting to find that chewing on her hands is a little more delicious. I hope we don't have a thumb sucker on our hands!

3 Months Old

Emerie is already 3 months old!! I wish time would slow down a bit! I will be anxious to see her stats at her four month well baby visit next month.

Daddy

These two are so special and words could never express how thankful I am that God has blessed me with them both. Emerie already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger!

So Strong

Emerie is getting stronger by the minute. She loves to have control of her own head instead of me always supporting it. She still gets extremely frustrated during tummy time but it is getting better. They really do grow up too fast!

Christmas prepping

I am running way behind on posting our family updates. Tyson had our Christmas lights up the Sunday after Thanksgiving! I also took the time that day to decorate the house. I always love getting out Christmas decorations, they create such a warmth when you are snuggled inside from the cold. Now I am just hoping it will snow a little!

Tyson did a great job on the lights..such a handyman!
