Bath girl...

We especially love bath time now as I have gotten rid of the fisher price baby bath tub. My little girl is growing up too fast and now insists on sitting in the big bath all by herself. However I do have to remind her constantly to sit on her behind and that the shiny faucet is not a toy. Right now she loves it when I fill her suirty toys up so she can squeeze them and shoot water in her face.

Happy Birthday Baby!!

We had Emeries birthday party on Saturday the 21st of September. It was such a fun day, and to watch your child get as excited as Emerie did, makes it the best day in your own books as well :) We have so many awesome family and friends to be thankful for, especially those that wished her a Happy Birthday, helped us celebrate at her party, gave her gifts and sent her gifts. So many pictures were taken that day (huge shout out/thank you to Aunt Sonya) but included are a few of my favorites :)

I put my craftiness to use, because Ty would have not been happy with the $40 banner purchase from Etsy.

 

We rented a bouncy house from a couple in Columbus and had it for about 6 hours. It provided a lot of fun and entertainment.

 

Emerie really enjoyed the bouncy house as well!

She loves the little people farm that Grandma and Grandpa Lambrecht got for her.

 

I love our little family to pieces.....my life revolves around these two and I wouldn't change it for anything...

 

She didn't quite know what to think of everyone singing to her. She did dance a little too!

Sibling photo at the end of the night, I love these two more than words could describe. My parents did a great job raising three kids who are best friends.

 

Overall the day was amazing and great memories were made! Thank you again to everyone who helped make it extra special for the birthday girl!

Cousins...

Emerie loves her cousins. We had a great time this summer when the Wagoner clan spent one weekend with us and the Rasmussen spent another. She adores her cousins and especially loves having them here.

Smell the flowers.....

Emerie loves flowers, especially the wildflowers that I planted for the first time that turned out so beautiful. I am not surprised about her love for flowers, because her third word besides "mama" and "dada" was "pretty".

11 months old.....

Columbus Days Baby Contest...

Emerie participated in the Columbus Days "I'm a little cutie" Baby Contest. I could not believe how many babies took part. Emerie was in the 7-12 month age division along with many others. She didn't place but she really was a smiley girl and I think she had fun :)

Baby gate...

The baby gate went up around 10 months. She was not even interested in the stairs until she found the newly installed baby gate, and then she just could not stay away. I can't blame her though :) She thinks she is pretty macho when she gets ahold of it tries to shake it around.

10 months old....

She is so hard to keep in the living room. For some strange reason she finds the dirtiest floor in the house and chooses to "hang out" there until I move her.

Green Beans...

Although she continues her dislike for green beans, she did enjoy watching me pickle them. I already know she is going to be a great little helper in the kitchen :)

Backyard Pool Fun...

The great thing about being a bitty baby at home in your own pool, you only need your little swimmers on! Emerie and I spent some time outside in her little pool this summer, although most of the summer seemed too blistering hot to have a babe outside. She really loves to be in the water, and especially loves to splash! The pets keep their distance from the pool when she is having her pool parties.

 

Had to bring those squirty toys out...

 

This little girl yells at her toys all of the time, we call her the little dictator. She is especially bossy with her little people.



Catching up...9 months old.....

I once again have found myself lagging way behind on the blog updates. So although Emerie is almost a year old, I am going back in time to catch up!
