Emerie's first Easter was a fun one!! We decided to make a day trip back to Wood River to celebrate with family after we went to Easter service at our church here in Columbus. Church went well for the first half hour as Emerie was content people watching and listening to the music, and then she found her vocal cords. She proceeded to "talk" in a very high pitched voice for awhile but luckily our church is very tolerant with children and there are plenty of spaces to walk around outside of service. We drove back to Wood River after church to my Grandma's house where we celebrated with Easter lunch and then ended with supper at the Wagoner's. It was a fun first Easter with our little peanut! It's hard to believe that next year she will actually be able to hunt Easter eggs. While I look forward to that, it also makes me sad because the time is just going too fast. They just don't stay little for long enough.
Pretty little doll in her Easter dress, and she did have a headband but she is easily finding things to pull off. FYI she is really great at posing for pictures..

Opening Easter presents, which included clothes, a peeping chick, a hopping chick, socks, stuffed animals, and a book. (I am going to start running out of room for everything)
